Your Role

Responsible for the maintenance of inventory with the issuance and receipt of various parts, tools, and supplies, while maintaining appropriate record keeping.

Requirements

• Perform a wide variety of clerical tasks.
  • Perform data entry, typing, and filing of all related data.
• Process material transactions:
  • Issue material directly to aircraft job numbers or department accounts.
  • Transfer material within various store areas.
  • Return material to inventory.
  • Stock material.
  • Accomplish cycle counts on inventory.
  • Control customer furnished materials.
• Process tool transaction:
• Issue tools and/or tooling materials as required to mechanics.
• Maintain tool issue files.
• Process materials to be shipped and/or received:
• Package and document materials for shipment.
• Process incoming materials for distribution.
• Adhere to safe maintenance practices and keep a clean work area.
• Successfully complete any courses deemed necessary for each interdepartmental position (Stores, Tooling, Shipping, and Receiving, etc.) authorized by the department manager and/or Training Department.
• Perform any work that may be assigned by his or her supervisor.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of office procedures and equipment, including typewriters, copiers, calculators, fax machines, and microcomputers.
• Ability to prepare routine reports and maintain specialized files and records.
