Your Role

Responsible for progressing in the QCT Trainee program under the guidance of the Quality Department and assist in the initial inspection and surveillance of commercial type aircraft undergoing maintenance and repair.

     

Responsibilities

  • Comply with initial inspection of commercial type aircraft using customer provide work instructions under the supervision of assigned Quality Control Lead.
  • Assist assigned Quality Control Lead in inspecting and accepting or rejecting all required inspection items and non-routine work accomplished on commercial type aircraft.
  • Assist assigned Quality Control Lead in inspecting aircraft and components utilizing special tooling and equipment. 
  • Perform weight and balance functions on commercial type aircraft and complete calculations under the supervision of assigned Quality Control Lead.
  • Assist in auditing of aircraft maintenance work packages under supervision of assigned Quality Control Lead.
  • Sign logbook airworthiness release under direction of assigned Quality Control Lead.
  • Assist Quality Control Lead in inspecting and reporting findings on facility 
  • Ensure workforce adheres to safe maintenance practices and keep work area clean.
  • Track and record work performed on O.J.T. forms and get appropriate sign offs by assigned Quality Control Lead.
  • Successfully complete any training courses deemed necessary by supervision.

What You'll Need

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Valid A&P License
  • Four (4) years minimum experience in heavy aircraft maintenance
  • Two (2) years Quality Control/Quality Assurance inspection experience in the military
